OFFICERS

PRESIDENT – Eve Anderson - Eve and her family have lived in the neighborhood for more than 20 years. She is active in the community and is often walking her dog around our neighborhood.

VICE PRESIDENT – Susan Tomiak - Susan is a British national who has lived in the United States since 1997 when she married her U.S. Navy husband. She has lived in Alexandria City twice and settled in the Taylor Run Neighborhood in 2008 when her husband retired from the military. They have one son who is now in middle school. Susan works for a non-profit organization in Eastern Market of the District of Columbia.

COMMUNICATIONS – Marjorie Greenberg - Marjorie moved to the Taylor Run neighborhood from Arkansas in 2017. She keeps active in various local organizations such as the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps, Alive! Food Banks, and the Community Services Board. She can be found walking with an extremely friendly French Bulldog named Jesse.

SECRETARY – Brian Bumpas Brian has volunteered with TRCA since 2023 and helps organize community events. Reach out to him via our group email if you're interested in getting involved in event planning.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Marge McNaughton - Marge has lived on Upland Place for the last 14 years and is delighted to see the growth in the number of young children in the neighborhood. She enjoys researching civic issues directly affecting the Taylor Run neighborhood. Most recently she prepared an extensive document on the not-necessarily-known facts and complications about the West Taylor Run and Duke Street Service Road project proposed by the city.

David Sterling - David is a long-time resident of the Taylor Run neighborhood and runs an IT consulting firm. David helps with TRCA technical issues and manages the park trash pickup efforts of TRCA.
