The City of Alexandria has numerous boards and commissions that affect the Taylor Run neighborhood. As a resident you can help your community by reporting on boards and commissions activity you already attend. Past boards interest to the community have been the Duke Street In Motion Commission, Traffic and Parking Board, the Alexandria City Council, and Stormwater Utility Committee.

With so many meetings, TRCA needs your attendance and notes at such events. Many meetings are unremarkable. If a meeting decision will affect a large portion of Taylor Run neighborhood, however, please let TRCA know. We can help spread awareness and, with enough momentum, choose as an Association to get involved.

TRCA is also asked to represents the Association as a whole on some boards and events. These positions usually go to active Executive and Board members. But please let us know if TRCA should be participating on a committee.

TRCA is nonpartisan, so direct campaigning for a candidate is not allowed. Voting is encouraged for all residents.
